The Oast House Tea Rooms

Home baking is a special feature of the Tea Rooms – taste our scones, cakes, apple pies and locally baked bread. Morning coffees, Afternoon teas and Cream teas. Freshly made soups, ploughman’s and light lunches.
Eat in the Oast House, on the Terrace or beside the Pond.
Open at the same times as the Gardens.
The Tea Rooms, Art Gallery and Craft Shop are open to all;
a visit to the Garden is not necessary

Art Gallery in the Tea Rooms

Paintings, drawings and works of art for sale.
The Gallery specialises in the work of local artists.

Easy Access

The garden*, tea rooms and toilets are suitable for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
We have just won a Disabled Silver Access Award.
* access may be difficult in extreme wet conditions

A delightful range of crafts and gifts, many made locally
Plant Nursery Pet animals Picnic site

Children’s Garden Trail

Gardens are not just for the retired. We have a trail specifically for the younger generation!

Dogs

NO DOGS in the gardens (except Guide dogs)
but they may be walked in the car park and along the drive.

Coaches

Coach parties are welcome by appointment
(Fridays & Saturdays included)

Evenings

Evening visits can be arranged for Groups. Arrangements can also be made to visit a unique local specialist collection of agricultural and rural bygones - Fred Hans Rural Life Collection, Challock.

The Gardens make a superb setting for Special Celebrations,
Wedding Receptions or Wedding photographs.

Disabled Toilets are available and most areas are suitable for wheelchairs.

Tea Rooms
Coffee, light lunches and cream teas are served all day and are available to non garden visitors; refreshments can be taken outside while enjoying a panoramic view of the garden.
Special Events The Gardens are available for special events including wedding receptions.

How to find Beech Court Gardens:

From London & Maidstone (M20) Leave the motorway at Junction 8, follow the A20 to Charing. At the roundabout take A252 signed Challock. Beech Court Gardens is on the right as you enter Challock.
From London & the Medway Towns (M2) Leave the motorway at junction 6 take A251 to Challock. At the roundabout take A252 signed Charing. Beech Court Gardens is on the left after about one mile.
From Dover and Folkestone Leave the M20 at junction 9 (Ashford), join the A28 (Canterbury) then the A251 to Challock. At the roundabout take A252 signed Charing. Beech Court Gardens is on the left after about one mile.
From Canterbury Take the A28 towards Ashford. Near Chilham turn right onto the A251 towards Challock. At the roundabout go ahead. Beech Court Gardens is on the left after about one mile
